This fixture was only arranged at 4.15 on Saturday afternoon so many thanks to Oadby Wggs for coming to Bosworth and playing in what proved to be a competitive fixture.

Bosworth had the better of the first half having great territory and possession the forwards produced quick ball for the backs to create the overlaps but Oadby to their credit made the tackles to keep the game scoreless. Bosworth however did get on the board when Daniel Shakeshaft hacked on a loose ball to touch down this went unconverted and Bosworth held this lead until half-time.

The second half began in similar fashion to the first and Bosworth scored a great try with the ball bring passed through the hands of about half the team for winger James Goodman to score in the corner.Oadby did have some good phases of play and from one of these they crossed after one of the backs barged his way over.This seemed to put more determination into Bosworth   not to let this one slip away from them,and with prop Ben Thompson making his presence felt in the front row Bosworth began to win the Oadby scrums and this pressure finally gave in when once again Goodman was put in at the corner for his second score.However the scoring was'nt over when Oadby scored from an advantage at a Bosworth knock on in the games last play.
